“My Chou Chou” seeks to rejuvenate a sense of intimacy between owner and object, but what it simultaneously reflects is a dystopian reality, by functioning with its materiality as an undecayable life-long comfort object, and a marketing strategy for the NTUC FairPrice brand, with the constant repeating elements, the image of consumerism has creeped up to a whole new personal level.
