Darkened Gold Embossing Powder, Plaster, Starch Adhesive, Syringe,

Layer Resin Coat.​​​​​​​ 5cc syringe, 23g needle.

Midas is a recapitulation of money and time.
Each droplet is individually hand-pressed.
Subsequently layered with insoluble Gold powder and preserved to mint with Resin.
The painting encompass the statement of 'Money can't buy time'. 
The gloss glass texture of the painting is a form of containment, providing viewers with the awareness of the smallestness of each individual perspective, which when touched gives the color of gold onto your hands, symbolising the pointlessness pervaded with restored meaningless, originating from the Greek Mythology, King Midas.
